Terms of use
Nex is an Android AI calling assistant in private beta. These terms describe how this beta works. You must accept them in the app before using calling features.
Calls on your behalf
You select each recipient, task, language and maximum call length. Use Nex only for lawful calls that you are authorized to make. Do not use it for unsolicited bulk marketing, harassment, fraud, impersonation or calls to emergency services. Verify ownership of your own phone number before calling.
AI, disclosure and recording
Nex identifies itself as an AI assistant. Audio recording is optional; when enabled, the assistant announces it at the beginning. Respect a recipient’s request to stop and obtain any consent required for your call. The assistant is instructed to end a call if a recipient objects to recording.
Check important details
AI speech, transcripts and summaries can contain mistakes. Review important details and confirm consequential arrangements yourself. A spoken agreement is not evidence that a visit, purchase or booking has happened. Nex cannot make purchases, authorize payments or independently contact another person to clarify a question.
Minutes and beta top-ups
Each new eligible account receives three welcome minutes once. Repeated sign-in does not award another bonus. Every started minute of a connected conversation counts as one full minute: a 65-second call uses two minutes. Nex reserves the chosen maximum duration before a call and releases unused minutes after settlement. Busy or unanswered calls use no conversation minutes.
Packages of 10, 60, 120, 240, 360 and 480 minutes currently add test minutes without charging money. This is not a paid checkout. Beta access, test top-ups and operational limits may change. Provider and AI charges are paid by the service operator and do not represent a monetary user balance.
Availability
The current beta supports selected ordinary mobile and landline destinations in the US and Canada. Provider permissions, rates, account review, budgets and connectivity can restrict calls. Call and notification delivery are not guaranteed. There is a per-call duration limit and an operator spending limit.
Your account and data
Keep your Google account secure. You can delete individual conversations and recordings, or request account deletion from your profile or the account page. The administrator processes account deletion requests. New calls and top-ups pause while a request is pending. The Privacy Policy explains data processing and retention.
Questions and changes
For account deletion, use Profile → Your data in Nex or the authenticated account page. If these terms materially change, the app will ask for acceptance of the updated version before further calls.
